The Eclipse 500 stands out with several key features that make it an attractive choice for business aviation:
Cost Efficiency: One of the most economical jets in its class, significantly reducing operating expenses.
Environmental Friendliness: Lower fuel consumption means a smaller carbon footprint compared to similar aircraft.
Access to Smaller Airports: Thanks to its short takeoff and landing capabilities, the Eclipse 500 can utilize runways inaccessible to larger aircraft.
Modern Avionics: Equipped with the integrated Avio IFMS (Integrated Flight Management System) featuring two large multi-function displays.
Comfortable Cabin: Despite its compact external dimensions, the cabin offers sufficient space for comfortable passenger accommodation during flights.

"I regularly fly on business between New York and Boston. The Eclipse 500 from JETVIP is the perfect solution for such flights. The time savings are enormous, and the comfort level is beyond praise." — Andrew K., CEO of an investment company
"We chartered an Eclipse 500 for a corporate management trip. The impressions are very positive—fast, convenient, confidential. We especially value the ability to work during the flight and the absence of tedious airport procedures." — Elena M., Head of Corporate Events
"I've made more than ten flights on the Eclipse 500 through JETVIP in the past year. The optimal price-to-quality ratio for an aircraft of this class. The cabin is compact but quite comfortable for short flights." — David W., Entrepreneur
The Eclipse 500 was developed by Eclipse Aviation and made its first flight in 2002. Serial production began in 2006, and a total of more than 260 aircraft of this model were produced. The main goal of the developers was to create an affordable jet with low operating costs, which was achieved through innovative technologies and materials.
After Eclipse Aviation's bankruptcy in 2008, the production rights were acquired by Eclipse Aerospace, and later by ONE Aviation. Updated versions received improved avionics, interior, and a number of technical enhancements, making the Eclipse 500 even more attractive to business aviation owners and operators.

The Eclipse EA500 is a compact, pressurized twin-engine jet built around the very light jet concept: modest cabin volume, low fuel burn relative to larger business jets, and systems intended to reduce workload for single-pilot operations. It is typically used for point-to-point regional travel where runway access and operating efficiency matter more than cabin space or long-range capability.
The EA500 fits missions where time savings over piston/turboprop travel is important but typical passenger counts remain low. It works best when the trip profile avoids regular near-maximum payload, and when operators value jet cruise speeds and IFR capability in a small-aircraft footprint.
Cabin volume is comparable to other VLJs: seating is typically arranged in a tight club configuration with limited ability for passengers to move around in flight. The environment is pressurized and climate-controlled, but comfort is most aligned with shorter flights and smaller groups rather than extended time aloft with frequent movement or extensive carry-on luggage.
The EA500 emphasizes integrated avionics and automation to support efficient single-pilot IFR operations in a small jet. Across the fleet, avionics and systems configurations can vary due to production changes and upgrades over time, so buyers should treat equipment lists and software baselines as aircraft-specific.
Operationally, the EA500 is typically flown as a high-utilization personal or small-business aircraft for day trips and short overnights. Its efficiency is most evident when flown within typical VLJ payload/range envelopes and when dispatch reliability is supported by current software, maintenance status, and access to experienced service resources.
