Jackie Chan Receives New Business Jet from Brazilian Manufacturer – Legacy 500.

Famous actor and filmmaker, as well as Embraer ambassador, Jackie Chan has received a new business jet from the Brazilian manufacturer – the Legacy 500.
"This delivery is very important for Embraer Executive Jets (the subsidiary responsible for manufacturing business jets) because it will further strengthen the close partnership between China and Embraer. We are very pleased that Jackie Chan is the first owner of our new aircraft in China. The Legacy 650 we delivered to Jackie in 2012 became a true flying office for him during his numerous intercontinental flights. Now, the Legacy 500 will also allow him to travel comfortably on shorter distances," commented Embraer.
The Legacy 500 is a completely new development and is 95% unified with the smaller Legacy 450. The aircraft is equipped with Rockwell Collins' Pro Line Fusion avionics. Additionally, it features a fly-by-wire control system. Incidentally, the Legacy 500 is the smallest business-class jet that has a fly-by-wire system. The practical range of the Legacy 500 with two pilots and four passengers on board is 3,000 nautical miles (5,500 km), with a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet (13,700 m) and a cruising speed of 0.82M. The maximum capacity of the business jet is two pilots and 12 passengers. The list price of the Legacy 500 is over $19 million.
