The Scorpions group has chosen JETVIP as the organizer of charters in Russia and Europe.

As Alexander Osit, the head of JETVIP, explained to BizavNews, this year, flights within Russia have become significantly more complicated due to "cabotage," and therefore no foreign carrier was able to meet the requirements. An additional limitation regarding aircraft selection was the client's demand for the number of seats in the cabin and the size of the baggage compartment.
“For our team and the company as a whole — this was a real professional challenge. We could not let the group down and were obliged to confirm our reputation as one of the most reliable brokerage firms in the business aviation market,” comments Mr. Osit.
The company explored all possible options for aircraft and operators, ultimately choosing two Russian airlines (RusJet and Sirius-Aero) that guaranteed the required type of aircraft, the Embraer Legacy 600/650, high-quality service, and backup aircraft if needed. Both airlines accomplished the task 100%.
Following all the flights, Klaus Meine, the frontman of the band, was so impressed with the preparation of the airlines' flight crews and the high level of service that he admitted, “I was skeptical about Russian pilots and airlines in general, but after the flawless execution of all flights, I have completely changed my opinion; these were perhaps the best flights of my life, and I have something to compare them to.”
As a token of gratitude, all pilots and flight attendants were invited to concerts in all cities with backstage access, just like friends of the band. “JETVIP proudly fulfilled all its commitments and justified the responsibility placed upon it. We look forward to welcoming the Scorpions again in 2021-2022,” concludes Mr. Osit.
