Business Aviation and the World Economic Forum in Davos

Airports in Switzerland are preparing for an influx of business aviation traffic directed towards the World Economic Forum (WEF), held annually in the resort town of Davos. Based on previous years, there could be up to 1,000 private jets arriving from January 23 to January 26.
The four airports that handle the majority of WEF traffic are Zurich, Dübendorf, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, and St. Moritz. According to industry data provider WingX Advance, the average number of air operations for these airports typically reaches 65 per day throughout January. During WEF week, this average daily figure swells to 218 operations, marking a 335% increase, with the busiest days exceeding 300 operations.
JETVIP notes that large business jets are the most popular among WEF attendees. Gulfstream GV/550 and Bombardier Globals were utilized over 100 times last year.
We look forward to our clients attending the World Economic Forum this year. Booking a private jet flight with JetVIP is the right choice. Our company has extensive experience in organizing flights to Davos for such events.
