Business Aviation and Aircraft Disinfection Against Coronavirus.

The coronavirus continues to spread worldwide, and one potential source of the virus may be transportation, including air travel. JETVIP has received numerous requests from our clients regarding aircraft treatment and protection against the coronavirus. In response, we have decided to offer free disinfection of business jets against the coronavirus to all our clients, subject to prior agreement with the customer.

Aircraft disinfection includes a series of measures aimed at eliminating pathogenic microflora in the cabin, salon, restroom, kitchen, and baggage compartment of the aircraft to create favorable conditions for passenger transport.

Special disinfectants, which do not cause allergies, are used for disinfecting passenger aircraft. The active substance is highly effective against various types of microbes:

• bacteria;
• viruses;
• mold fungi.

The disinfectants used for the sanitary treatment of the aircraft cabin meet current quality standards, and their safety is confirmed by a certificate of compliance. Disinfection of the aircraft is carried out in accordance with SanPiN requirements and the instructions of Rospotrebnadzor. Before disinfection in the cabin, cockpit, restroom, and baggage compartment, a thorough cleaning is performed. A layer of dust can reduce the effectiveness of the disinfectant.

During the treatment, the flight crew must leave the aircraft. Only SES staff remain on board.

There are specific regulations and civil aviation rules that state that aircraft disinfection involves special solutions and their concentrates:

— that do not harm the health of the flight crew and passengers,

— that meet the requirements for organoleptic properties,

— that do not leave residues on treated surfaces and do not spoil their appearance,

— that are explosion and fire safe,

— harmless and non-allergenic,

— that do not accumulate in the human body.

Requirements for disinfection solutions

For the use of disinfectants inside the aircraft, it is necessary that the solutions:

— have a conclusion on their corrosion inertness,

— do not damage paint coatings,

— do not affect the appearance of plastic products,

— do not destroy leather, glass, wood, or rubber surfaces.

Aircraft disinfection is carried out in accordance with the work regulations, as well as adhering to temperature regimes, avoiding the spillage of liquid agents on the floor, in the underfloor space, and on carpets, as well as on aircraft structural elements, including seams, connections, and gaps.
