Flight Options, established in 2007, specializes in advanced pilot training, private jet charter and ab-initio training (start date to be advised).
Flight Options has a flight training organization at our Sunshine Coast Airport facility to provide pilot training ranging from PPL/Commercial level to advanced jet training, and the framework for a future flight training academy capable of supporting airline and related training. Flight Options currently holds a CASA Air Operators certificate.
Flight Options also provides flight department services and support for aircraft owners and customers, including charter, aircraft operation, aircraft management, flight training and crewing.
Phil Laffer is Flight Options’ Chief Pilot and Head of Operations, he has broad flying and business experience across regional airlines, corporate charter and international business aviation. Captain Laffer is endorsed on a range of turboprop and jet aircraft and holds CASA check and training approval for the Cessna Citation Mustang. Phil has a Bachelor of Information Technology degree from Bond University.
