On August 14, 2015, South Florida Helicopters Charter & Tours became the first U.S. helicopter charter company granted permission from the U.S. Treasury, U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. DOT/FAA to conduct helicopter charter operations between the USA and Cuba.
