Quicksilver Air Inc. is owned by Rick and Sharon Swisher. Quicksilver Air Inc. is a certified Part 135/133 and AMD/OAS approved Helicopter Company. We work all over the State of Alaska doing general utility work and we have specialized in wildlife capture work since the early 1990’s. Our main base is in Alaska where we operate six Robinson R44 Raven II helicopters and two Super Cub fixed-wing aircraft.

Since 2000 we have been invited to work on various wildlife capture projects in other States as well as Canada. Prompted by increased demand for our services we opened our second base in Colorado Springs in 2004. This is where we base our four MD500’s and additional Robinson R44’s when required.

We do capture work for both State and Federal agencies and are highly proficient in both net gunning and darting. We have extensive experience with aerial radio-tracking and are familiar with ATS, Telonics and Lotek systems. Our aircraft are equipped with GPS capable of line-transect surveys and our pilots are familiar with a variety of survey techniques for wildlife inventory.
