Azimut Airlines is a Southern Russian air carrier based at Platov International Airport in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar International Airport named after Catherine II and Mineralnye Vody International Airport named after M. Y. Lermontov. Azimut Airlines was founded in 2017. The airline has carried more than 5 million passengers in just over the first 4 years from the start of operations. 

Today, the company has a fleet of 15 modern Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft. The SSJ-100 is a family of aircraft in which passengers feel just as comfortable as in the cabin of a large-capacity mainline aircraft. Azimut Airlines operates a program for naming aircraft after rivers of the Russian Federation.
