The Bombardier CRJ100 and CRJ200 are a family of regional jets manufactured by the Canadian company Bombardier and based on the Canadair Challenger business jet.

The successful CRJ100 model in 1995 was upgraded into CRJ 200 - the aircraft was supplied with new, more economical engines as General Electric CF-34-3B1. CRJ200 has enhanced operational characteristics: this type is capable of flying in difficult meteorological conditions and conditions of high altitude airfields. The fifty-seat comfortable lounge, equipped with comfortable leather chairs, thanks to the available engineering solutions, can easily be converted into a full economy or business/economy class. In addition to the basic models CRJ100 and CRJ200, there are also modifications with an increased range: ER (Extended Range) and LR (Long Range). Especially for US airlines, a small series also released the CRJ440 version (CRJ200 with a reduced number of passenger seats to 44).
